The first baby of 2007!  Born January 5th, meet Lucia!  She made her appearance at 7:00 p.m. and proud momma is our beautiful Lulu.  Dad is Night Train, one of Rocky and NanC's progeny. 

Meet Venus, our Morning Star! Born Tuesday, January 9, 2007.  Mom is our gorgeous Melo-D and dad is Tipster.  This little one weighed in at 8 pounds even and is quite vocal!

He's small, but he's mighty!  Born at 4:20 a.m. on January 17th, it's a small wonder that he's here at all.  12 degrees below 0 with 30 to 35 mile an hour winds wasn't conducive for kidding!  Our Pale Face Girl produced triplets, but only this little one survived.

Bertha did it again!  Last time 3 bucklings this time 2 bucklings and one doeling.  Born January 18th, this troop made quite a load! Rusty (on right) weighed in at 7 3/4 lbs, Celebrate (center) weighed in at 8 1/2 lbs, and Starter (left) weighed a whopping 9 1/4 lbs! Poor Bertha! Night Train really showed his stuff!

Monet finally produced!  These two little guys who we call spot and stripe are the product of Monet a Registered American Alpine and Tonka.  Born on February 23rd, they will live in the house for a time, being bottle fed.  In a few days these two little Boer/Alpine crosses will go out to live in the barn. 

These two darlings were born on March 6 at 7:00 in the morning.  Doesn't seem like a problem except it was around 15 below 0 and the wind was whipping at about 30 miles per hour!  Our pretty Carina, registered Alpine, and handsome Tonka produced these two little cuties!  Blondie at the top will become a dairy doe, Red (bottom) will become one of our meat producers.

Bruiser and Cruiser were born Monday, March 19, 2007 at 10:30 p.m.  Our wonderful Bald Face Girl is their mom and Tonka is their dad.  Two gorgeous, solid little boys!  Cruiser weighed in at 8 1/2 pounds and Bruiser was 10 pounds.  No wonder Baldie Girl was so gigantic!

Oh, Boots darling, what a handful you're going to have!  Born Friday March 23, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. these triplets are so adorable!  Boots is the mom of this crew and Tonka is the dad.  Two little girls and one honking big boy!  The girls are Chili and Salsa, the little boy is Taco.  What a crew!

Meet Colorful.  This darling little girl weighed in at 9 1/2 pounds and was born on March 26, 2007.  Our wonderful Button is her mom and Tonka is her dad.  She is definitely a work of art!

Obviously Silver Streak is living in the house at present!  Born on March 31, 2007 to Persephone, one of our Angora does, he wasn't doing too well. We brought him in the house and now he's thriving!  Silver Streak is a Boer/Angora cross.  His dad is Tonka.

Curly Sue is also a Boer/Angora cross.  She was born April 2, 2007 to our Angora, Delphinia.  Her dad is Tonka.

And, yet another Boer/Angora cross!  This little guy has a dark silver stripe down his back and we're tempted to call him Skunk!  We'll see.  He was born on April 3, 2007 to pretty Aphrodite.  His dad is Tonka also.

Get a load of these two!  Carlotta one of our Alpines produced these two Boer/Alpine crosses on April 7, 2007.  Tonka is their dad.  The bottom one will probably be named Donkey Boy! Those ears are just too funny.  Plus, he has wattles, not just any wattles though.  One is higher than the other making for a really comical expression!

Finally!!  Pistol (top) and Tail Gunner (bottom) were born on June 3rd, 2007 to our pretty Claire.  Claire was bred to one of Rocky's sons, FlinT.  These two little guys weighed in at 8 1/2 pounds each and will make some girls very happy in the near future.  In other words, they are already practicing!!!
