The start of labor. Laying down, getting up, laying down, getting up, over and over again. Finally NanC lays down and starts to push. Some girls lay down to have their babies others squat.	Mucous, mucous and more mucous.	Copious amounts of mucous and the water sack starts to protrude.

A little hoof begins to appear during contractions.	Another view of the first hoof.	Patti needs a little help. It's her first time and the baby is big. A little tug during her contractions will help. Always tug down, and always during the contraction when she is pushing!

Here comes the head. If you look closely you can see Zeke's ear hanging down in the water bubble.	Patti needs a little more help. Hoofs are out and head is half way out.	Keep pushing Patti! You're almost there!

Half out!	You're getting there Patti! Don't stop now!	Cleaning out the mouth and around the nose with the towel. Baby will take his first breath shortly.

Starting the clean up.	Pulling baby number two closer to mom for her to clean up.	Mom begins her work. Licking and cleaning. Obviously she's going to be a super mom.

Hairdryer helps get kids warm and dry quickly in cold weather.		Meet brand new Portia! She warms up under the heat lamp while mom cleans up Sophia her twin.

Hopefully these photos will help with your upcoming kidding season. Keep in mind that this is a compilation of photos. There are three different girls involved in the kidding process. It's not always easy to photograph goats in labor. They move around quite a bit!
